Need for Insurance Penetration in Rural India
As per the Population Research Centre India, “Health insurance coverage in rural India is 14.1%, which is lower than the 18% coverage in urban areas.”

The goal is to provide essential healthcare services, such as consultations with doctors and nurses, as well as preventive care, to underserved communities. The program will prioritize addressing non-communicable diseases, such as diabetes and hypertension, and promoting iron nutrition awareness.
How Does Star Arogya Digi Seva Work?

- Trained nurses are there to check medical history and conduct examinations.
- Lab tests are done if required.
- Consultation with the in-house doctor.
